Students equip 10 Tello indoor drones with instructions to carry out important missions through code! Because the drones are fully reusable, students can program them again and again for more than 100 missions.
Students use the versatile DroneBlocks application to deliver important instructions to their drones. They can start in the block coding interface, test their code, and progress to line coding all in the same app! Successful flight missions will require an acute sense of algebra and geometry and allow students to explore multiple coding languages like Python and JavaScript.
This Kit requires 10 compatible devices (one per drone) running the DroneBlocks app and 1 compatible device running the Tello app. The DroneBlocks app requires a Wifi-enabled smartphone, tablet, Chromebook, desktop, or laptop running Android, iOS or ChromeOS. DroneBlocks is not compatible with FireOS. The Tello app requires the use of a Wifi-enabled smartphone running Android or iOS and is not compatible with most tablets.
One Kit accommodates a class of up to 30 students. Meets Several Math Common Core Standards. Recommended for Upper Elementary and Up.
