Interlocking design lets students group pieces to see the logical development of numbers. The design provides students with a physical representation of mathematical concepts for enhanced learning opportunities and a deeper understanding of each concept. Use the individual unit cubes to count by ones, rods to specify groups of 10, flats for groups of 100, and a decimeter cube to indicate 1,000.
